At The Grooming Loft, every appointment is designed to be calm, intentional, and never rushed. To keep that experience consistent for every dog, please review the following:
Appointments
The Grooming Loft operates by appointment only, with a limited number of dogs scheduled at a time. This allows for a low-stress, focused grooming environment.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a fee.
Arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Late arrivals may require adjustments to the service or rescheduling.
Pickup Policy
Dogs should be picked up within 30 minutes of completion.
Because The Grooming Loft operates on a low-volume schedule, timely pickup helps maintain a calm environment and allows us to stay on schedule for other appointments.
Late pickups may result in additional fees.
Coat Condition
Your dog’s comfort comes first.
Severely matted coats may require a shorter groom than requested to safely remove matting. This will be discussed at check-in whenever possible.
Regular at-home maintenance helps achieve and maintain longer styles.
Behavior
Gentle, patient handling is always used. However, dogs must be safe to work with.
Additional time or handling fees may apply when needed, and grooming may be stopped if safety becomes a concern.
Senior & Health Considerations
Extra care is taken with senior dogs and those with medical needs. Grooming may be adjusted as needed to prioritize your dog’s well-being.
Adjustments
Your satisfaction is important.
If something isn’t quite right, please reach out within 24 hours of your appointment. Minor adjustments are gladly offered within a few days.
Payment
Payment is due at pickup.
